Slutspurt

Bara ett par veckor kvar innan lokalen är helt färdig för inflyttning. Hemsida är under produktion där bland annat höstens och vårens konstnärer kommer att presenteras, vi meddelar när den är öppen. Detta blir de sista bilderna från renoveringen. Det slutliga resultatet visas den 24 september då vi öppnar portarna för dig och alla andra.

Just a few weeks left for the idle builders. Website is under construction and will contain upcoming exhibitions and more. The launch will be presented here. These pictures are the last from the renovation. Final result September 24 when we have the Grand opening.

Nu är det full rulle i lokalen igen. Åtta veckor till öppning.

Sakta men säkert går arbetet framåt. Kassadisken börjar ta form och resten, ja, det ser rörigt ut men det finns ett system.

Things are moving forward. The counter is under construction and the rest, yes, it looks messy but there is a system.

Äntligen!

På grund av brandskyddsregler har arbetet stått still ett par veckor men nu är betongen på plats. I sommar ska vi besöka en hel del spännande ställen för att hitta inredning till butiken. Nästa vecka ska vi träffa en intressant konstnär. Mer info följer.


We have been at a standstill for a couple of weeks due to fire protection regulations but finally the concrete is in place. We’re going to spend the summer looking for ”display furniture” to the shop, there will be a lot of exciting places to visit. Next week we’re meeting another interesting artist. More info to follow.

Gjutning på gång

Nästa steg är gjutning av golv på nedre plan. Samtidigt träffar vi en rad intressanta framtida samarbetspartners och konstnärer.


Next step is molding the ground floor. We are also in a lot of meetings with future partners and artists.

Ny entré

Nu är porten på väg bort för att ersättas av dörrar och fönsterparti. Golvet ska gjutas igen.


The gate will be replaced by doors and windows. The floor will be formed in one level.

Fönsterfix

Idag är jag glad att jag inte är målare ... De gamla fönstren bevaras och renoveras i stället för att bytas mot nya. Mycket jobb men mycket finare!

Today I'm happy not to be a painter ... We keep the old windows and restore them instead of changing to new ones. A lot of work but so much nicer!

Goda grannar!

Här är dörren in till ”Kaffe” våra goda grannar. Vi ser fram emot att doften av nybakade bullar och färskmalet kaffe kommer sprida sig in till oss.


This door leads to our neighbours, a coffeehouse called ”Kaffe”. We're looking forward to the smell of freshly baked buns and coffee.

Snart dags för gjutning

Nu har golvarbetet börjat, snart dags för gjutning. Den stora porten kommer att ersättas med glasparti och entrédörr


The work with the floor has started, next step is to make this a plane surface. The large gate will be replaced with glass and entrance.
